Doctors Michael Foland, Chris Erion, Kim Girouard, Nicole Slater, and our support team are committed to providing the highest standard of veterinary care for our patients.
Keizer Veterinary Clinic has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1977. This involves regularly undergoing evaluations by AAHA, to ensure that we comply with the association’s highest quality standards of care. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Only 15 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA.

Appointments
We understand that your time is valuable. In order to serve you and your pet in a timely fashion, we operate our clinic primarily by appointment. Please call our office today to schedule an appointment for your pet. Our Customer Care Specialists will make every effort to accommodate all requests.
For the safety of you and your pet, we require that all pets be on a leash or in a carrier before entering the clinic.
Emergency & Urgent Care
Appointments are not necessary in an emergency situation. We have veterinarians and trained support staff on duty 6 days a week who are able and equipped to handle any emergency care your pet needs.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Payment Policy
So that we may continue to provide you highest quality veterinary services, we request that payment be made in full at the time services are rendered.
We are happy to provide estimates for all procedures and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time. Please note that in some cases a physical examination may be required before an accurate estimate can be made.
