Michael Foland, D.V.M.
Dr. Michael Foland was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Medford where he graduated
from Medford High School. He then attended Oregon State University graduating with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology. Dr. Foland then attended Iowa State University where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He then returned to Oregon and began practice at Keizer Veterinary Clinic in 1977. In addition to regular practice activities Dr. Foland has a special interest in orthopedic diagnostics and surgery.
Michael is an accomplished photographer with training under such notables as Ansel Adams, John Sexton, and Ruth Bernhard. His award winning work is represented in many private and institutional collections. For more information you may visit

Michael has also been very active with Northwest Medical Teams and Friends of Pimpollo, humanitarian organizations doing work in Mexico. He has made many trips to Mexico helping underprivileged groups and photographing the people and landscape.
Michael enjoys camping and photographing the landscapes of the American West. He also likes gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and working with an orphanage in Southern Mexico. He has two sons; one is an Air Force Academy graduate currently in pilot training and the other is an electrical engineering student at Oregon State University
